Our precision tubes offer one key benefit over standard tubes: they can be precisely manufactured to meet your needs. Close tolerances, surfaces with a set Ra value, circularity and straightness requirements, and the desired tensile strength can be tailored to your specifications. We also offer a variety of cross-section shapes, including oval and square tubes.

Tube diameter: dimensional ranges for precision tubes
We offer a wide range of tube diameters, from tiny external outer diameters of 0.05 mm upwards through to an impressive Ø 105 mm. Wall thicknesses start at 0.03 mm, ensuring the perfect shape for your requirements.
Our precision tube options
We offer three different options for precision tubes.
Welded, calibrated precision steel tubes:
These tubes are welded with the utmost precision and calibrated to ensure exact dimensions.
Welded, redrawn precision tubes:
Strip material is shaped into tubes, welded and then redrawn to achieve the desired dimensions. The result is tubes with close tolerances and a smooth weld seam.
Seamless, drawn precision tubes:
These tubes are laboriously pilgered from round steel and then seamlessly drawn to the desired dimensions. Their high level of impermeability sets them apart.
Precision tubes with precise tolerances
Our welded-redrawn and seamless-drawn precision tubes generally have tolerances of 0.01 mm. For welded, calibrated tubes, the tolerances vary depending on the standard, with EN 1127-D4/T3 used for diameters of up to 20 mm and EN 1127-D3/T3 used for larger diameters.
Compelling materials
Our most common materials, including 1.4301 (AISI304), 1.4404 (AISI316L), 1.4435 (AISI 316L) and 1.4571 (AISI316Ti), impress with their corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. They have been tried and tested in various applications, and also offer flexibility for individual requirements. We can also offer precision tubes made of other materials upon request.
Impressive surfaces
Surface treatment is vital in ensuring that the requirements of different areas of application are met. We therefore offer a variety of surface treatments, including bright drawn tubes, ground tubes in various grain sizes, Scotch-Brite surfaces, polished tubes and pickled tubes.
Bespoke tensile strength
Our tubes are available in various tensile strength classes. From soft, bright-annealed tubes with a tensile strength of 500-700 N/mm² to hard, spring-tempered tubes at more than 1,150 N/mm², we have the solution for your particular requirements.
